Why We Built This Site
Public access is useful only when the request reaches the right custodian. Tommy Lee Kidd and the Lawrence County Circuit Court Clerk maintain Circuit, General Sessions, and Juvenile records. The Clerk and Master keeps Chancery records. City clerks handle municipal matters, while Tennessee Public Case History covers appeals rather than local trial cases. The site brings those distinctions together with official contacts, search methods, and request steps.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket references: ways to locate and read criminal court dockets and civil court dockets in Lawrence County
- Dates and settings: methods for checking the court schedule and verifying a hearing with the clerk
- Case lookup: how to use the docket search by name, reference, year, or case number
- Record requests: where to seek court case records, inspection, and certified copies
What We Cannot Do
This privately operated reference site has no affiliation with a Tennessee court, clerk, or government agency. Its role has firm limits:
- It cannot retrieve an official docket sheet or case file
- It cannot set, move, or confirm a hearing date
- It cannot amend, seal, or remove a court case
- It cannot authenticate a docket, order, or filed document
- It cannot provide legal advice about a particular matter
- It cannot promise that each fee, contact, or setting remains current
An official or certified court record must come from the clerk or court that maintains the original. This site can identify that office but cannot issue the document.
Search Partners
Outside providers power search boxes found on some pages. Each provider controls its own service, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral payment that supports free public access to this site. Lawrence County Court Docket does not set partner fees or control partner results.
